You will be pleased to know that all of Type and Story products can be recycled. All of their products are printed onto FSC accredited and approved stock which means that they are all produced from sustainably sourced material in the UK. Their cello bags are made from film that has been accredited to ‘OK biobased’ and are fully biodegradable and compostable, breaking down to CO2 and H2O.
Type and Story prints all of their cards on a four color press and have recently invested in a second hand hot foil press so all small orders are foiled by hand by Niccy. Due to the hand crafted nature of these items, please embrace any imperfections of the foiling process. Larger orders are produced in a factory in Kent using state of the art printing methods.

Type and Story is a small London design studio making contemporary paper products. Founded by Graphic Designer, Niccy Iseman, the aim is to create purposeful paper goods for people with stories to tell. Type and Story operates like a tiny micro fashion house in that each 'story' is different but always under the umbrella of typography and storytelling. Ultimately, living well with purpose and intent is at the core of every story choice and the brand’s ethos overall.
In the first 6 months of launching, Type and Story was featured in three prestigious publications: Stylist Magazine, Wallpaper and Suitcase Magazine, for which we are incredibly grateful.
In 2018, Type and Story was one of the lucky Stationery Show Launchpad winners, which enabled Niccy to showcase her products to the trade for the first time, kick-starting her wholesale journey with a bang.
In 2019, Type and Story exhibited at Progressive Greetings Live, where Niccy was awarded a Golden Ticket from Paperchase, who have since become a wonderful supporter and stockist.
In January 2020, Type and Story won the ‘Most Engaging Print’ category at Top Drawer’s Paper Awards and was runner-up for the 'Most Exciting Use of Colour’ category. Type and Story are now proudly stocked in some of the most exciting UK retailers and beautiful independent stores across the UK, Europe, USA and Hong Kong.
