Hand washing is recommend.
For the porcelain body (without the bell): wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
For the infuser: wash by hand or in the dishwasher (without using corrosive detergents, neither chlorine, nor bleach...).
For the felt to keep warm: hand wash in soapy water but we strongly advise against it. Indeed, if you have removed it from the bell (to do this, unscrew the button and unclip the tabs or remove the scratches), it may become deformed and will be difficult to replace correctly.
For the steel bell: use of a soft damp cloth to clean the outside (do not use chlorine, bleach, etc.).
For the aluminum colored bell (Amethyst, Black, Bronze and Zinc): wash by hand with a soft sponge or cloth soft damp to clean the outside (do not use an aggressive sponge, neither chlorine, nor bleach..., and do not scratch). Any washing in the dishwasher is prohibited and would cause irreversible deterioration.
We remind you that to heat your tea, you can place your jug in the microwave (without the bell or infuser).
Under no circumstances should the Salam teapot be placed on a heat source (gas, ceramic hob, etc.).
